This Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests “Forest Plan Revision” petition addresses the adverse economic impact on the greater Elk City, Idaho area’s economy.
A significant portion of Elk City, Idaho business community is dependent upon recreation, tourism, hunting, fishing, mining and lodging in the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests. The addition of more “Wild & Scenic River” and “Wilderness” areas will have negative and detrimental impact on the Elk City area economy; resulting in the loss of jobs, economic hardships; and the loss of County, State and Federal Tax revenues. We the undersigned, do not want any more Wild & Scenic Rivers and Wilderness areas added to the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests.
