A new bill has been introduced in California which would make it a crime for any non-profit to hold a raffle where the prize is a rifle. AMRA and many, many other non-profits have held raffles where guns were a prize and it has raised quite a bit of money for the fight for public land use and mining rights.
The bill, AB3199 introduced by Assemblyman Holden (D Los Angeles) would make these simple raffles illegal.
Yet another eroding of our rights……
