This article about pot grows in the California Motherlode should infuriate everyone. I honestly cannot remember how many of these we’ve found over the years, it’s too many to count anymore. We just found one last week as a matter of fact.
The growers dump chemicals, batteries and trash all over our pristine creeks and rivers. The batteries leach poison into the water, the pesticides and fertilizer kill the fish.
We’ve even been shot at by the growers when we tried to access one of our claims they were growing their product on. Just this year, two very good friends of AMRA were also shot at when they walked too close to one of the grows.
Infuriating……
